COS Interiors took part in the annual Australian Cabinet & Furniture Association (ACFA) Industry Awards (2022). We were delighted to win two prestigious awards. 

• Winner Best Kitchen Renovation Over $80k (Victorian Mansion – St Kilda – Kitchen)
• Winner Best Kitchen Renovation $60k – $80k (Original Federation-Era Home – Malvern East)

We are so proud of our ongoing achievements, and it was a fantastic opportunity to support the industry and network with suppliers and designers in our trade.

We were excited to create and install a custom display suit for a beautiful and sustainable apartment development in Brighton called Slate House. It’s been created by Maynard Architects and is a great initiative.

Austin Maynard Architects design ‘forever homes’ for clients. Places where families can grow, adapt and flourish. Slate House is presented as a premium, sustainable offering with a higher degree of consideration for its occupants. Simple and honest building materials are used throughout, each selected for their durability, beauty and timeless qualities.

The house was named in Vogue Living’s Top 10 Houses of 2018 and in their list of upcoming trends.

The COS Interiors  team were delighted to attend the 2018 Industry awards night at Luna Park in Sydney.

Things were slightly different this year as CMDA (Cabinet Makers & Designers Association) & FIAA (The Furnishing Industry Association of Australia) joined forces to host these national awards. You can read more about the merger here. 

We were thrilled to be selected as finalists in 4 categories:

• Best alfresco design
• Best bathroom design
• Best built in furniture design
• Best kitchen $35,001 – $65,000

The calibre of industry projects are extremely high so we were blown away and honoured to receive two winning entries – best alfresco design & best kitchen $35,001 – $65,000.

We could not have received these awards without the amazing efforts and contributions from our COS Team and all the support from our regular builders & designers. On the awards night there was also an exciting announcement that the CMDA & FIAA will merge to boost performance for our industry. Stay tuned…

We are thrilled to tell you about an amazing project we worked on.

Built by Guild and designed by Architecture Architecture ‘The Kite’ has been successful this year at the Victorian Architecture Awards 2018.

The kite house is a one-off kitchen in a unique house full of open space and angles and nestled amongst beautiful silver birch trees and lush gardens. Entering the kitchen, you get a sense of sleek minimalistic beauty which flows directly into the courtyard. The kitchen is a mixture of many materials and textures including laminate, solid Victorian Ash timber, stainless steel, Corian and powder coated black steel. Blum products were used for all internal hardware and drawer systems. One of the many exceptional features of this kitchen is the black Corian encasing the stainless-steel cupboards and appliances.
